About the Author
Dr KE Elizabeth has an illustrious career during the last three and a half decades, a recipient of University First rank in MBBS and a Doctorate in Nutrition and Child Development. She is currently the UNICEF consultant for Kerala State. She has served as Professor and Head, Dept. of Pediatrics at SAT Hospital & Govt. Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala and subsequently continuing the same role at Sree Mookambika Institute of Medical Sciences, Kulasekharam, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. She has bagged three Gold medals, 16 Awards. She had special training from National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad, St James University, Leeds, UK and Karolinska, Sweden as part of Global Medicine Teacher Exchange Programme. She has published more than 200 scientific papers in numerous International & National Journals and has undertaken research work with funding from the State & National Governments.
